All AKFC squads receive Coerver® elite training, both in the team setting and as individuals through the Centers of Excellence or COE-Elite.
As the undisputed world leader in top-level youth development, Coerver® Coaching is uniquely positioned to assist in taking Alaska’s best players to the next level. All AKFC clinics and training camps incorporate Coerver® curriculum, to include ball mastery, passing and receiving, 1v1 attacking and defending, speed and agility, shooting and finishing, and small-group attacking and defending.
With AKFC team training, group play is gradually increased to 7v7 with tactical direction and systems of play, broadening the principles of concentration while still maintaining our foundational belief in the development of the individual. Each session is presented in a professional training environment and is designed to promote competitive intensity, helping to push the players beyond their comfort zones without losing focus on technical effectiveness and tactical awareness.
In the end, it’s our intention to develop skilled, confident and creative players who’ve tested their abilities at the highest possible levels.
